How to pack a TT for shipping?

I'm selling my old Sony TT on ebay, and want to make sure I get it to the winning bidder in perfect shape. What's the best way to pack it? Should I remove the belt and pack it seperately?

Thinking back to how the turntables I have purchased were packed is how I think you should do it. The platter is normally removed and cardboard placed over the subplatter and taped down to the base to keep the shaft and bearing in place. The belt is usually packed seperately to reduce any extra stretching. Also the counterweight on the tonearm is removed if possible. The tonearm should be locked in palce and taped down to prevent any damage from rough handling. Wrap the base, bearing and tonearm in bubble wrap. Then wrap the dustcover and finally the platter and it sould arrive safely.
