I love my Tube Phono Box, but being able to adjust by 16 different settings is very tempting.

I have no experience with it, but, FWIW, I do recall that Fremer of Stereophile seemed to favor it over several other phono preamps in the same price range. If you have access to a Recommended Components issue from last year you can read his synopsis of the Trigon and your Tube Box. He may have reviewed them at the same time and compared them directly. (From reading his columns, I've kinda gleaned that he prefers a lean, very detailed presentation. If you like your Tube Box sound, his opinions may not be very helpful to you.)
