technics sl-2000
I am looking at a technics sl-2000 turntable. I am new to the vinyl thing and while I do know their advantages I have not kept up on the equipment to know what is good and what to stay away from. Any help will be appreciated

There is one on ebay and it has almost a week so keep an eye on it! You may get a good deal!

This is one of the lower-end of the Technics direct-drive turntables. It probably wouldn't take much money to aim higher in the Technics world. I'd look for the quartz models, for one thing. Also, there are many that were better-looking and better-built.

Im also looking at a old pioneer pl-570 direct drive. It does look quite a bit better with the wood base. It is in good shape. What do you guys think of these?
