I remember when I was in College, I worked for the old Pacific Stereo. We used to sell cartridges from Shure, Stanton, Audio Technica, and others.

Markup was typically 80% or higher! I'd make $5 selling a turntable but $100 selling the cartridge.

I don't know if there are internal differences and I would hope for the money charged for some of those high end cartridges, that there are some differences other than cosmetic wood glued to the casings.

    Anyone identify the two cartridges?

It does not seem anyone gave the correct answer.

Does anyone know what the two cartridges were?

I'm still trying to figure it out. The one on the left is by ClearAudio for sure, but I cant tell that Blue cartridge.
