    One interesting observation made by the reporter, the DL103 has remained virtually unchanged and in continuous production since its introduction in 1962. That fact seems to be unprecedented anywhere in the world of technology. This little cartridge has enjoyed continuous unrelenting worldwide demand despite the fact it was designed 44 years ago.

    Nice to see some classic audio designs continuing on into the 21st century (the Klipschorns come to mind, also in continuous production since '46).
