Back in 1964/5, Grado sold a very high-end turntable that was considered the ultimate at the time. It used two hysteresis-sychronous motors and two flywheels (I wonder if they spun in opposite directions?). Anyway, due to the double flywheel, it had a rather thick base and just an on/off switch. I'm hankering to try to find one and restore it, but haven't seen one on eBay after months of searching. Does anyone know anything about this turntable? I've tried contacting and talking to Joe Grado's nephew who runs the business now, but he wasn't much help.
