It's a 1958 DeSoto Firesweep. The Mecum Auction site describes the record player as follows:

"one of the rarest factory options offered by any manufacturer: a 16 rpm record player, accompanied here by original records sold by Chrysler dealers, along with a record order form."

uhh, I wonder if Chrysler still carries any of those 16rpm records.

It might be ok for background music while watching the submarine races at make-out point with your best girl.

c) cleaning my stylus
d) distracted by the 60Hz hum
e) taping a penny to the cartridge end of my tonearm so it won't skip when I hit a pothole.
