Jack, here you go. Steel/Brass will give you a weight around 350g with this design. Aluminum will be lighter obviously.

Thanks, that looks simple enough. I assume that the 7.25 mm hole could be a drill point at the bottom and not flat. I love making things that I can actually put to use myself. I'll post some pictures and if anybody wants one, I'll be glad to send you one. If you have your own ideas, send me a drawing and I'll see what I can do.

I'll start on the program this morning. I'll try and run some between production runs.

I'm getting 375 grams for that design using the density of aluminum...2.7 g/cm3.

Hey look everyone, it's the math guy! Hehe...

I will have to check but I'm pretty sure the weights I quoted are from that DIY site. It would ba WAY heavier using steel obviously.

Just trying to help. You obviously don't want a weight that weighs a kilogram.

LOL, no I don't. In fact I don't really want to exceed 350g. I'm sure Jack will figure it out once he's working with the materials.

I'll put it on the Cad system and see if I can get an estimated weight. I'm right in the middle of an Inconel job, so I could use some fun.
