    Cartridge Change

I am thinking of changing my cartridge for one of these.

Ortofon OM 30 super, or Goldring 2500

Are they both compatible with the RB300 arm, and if so which one should I go for.
    Onkyo P304 M504 pre/power combo.
Systemdek 2X2 turntable RB 300 Arm Origin live modified
Denon CD player (to be upgraded as soon as I have more cash)
Sonus Faber Minuetto Speakers Bi-wired on Sonus Faber stands (Brilliant)
    Kimber 4 TC speaker cable
    Cord Cobra 3 Interconnects.

Is the RB300 light? The Ortofons are high compliance. Also, is your phono stage capable of like 150-175pF? It's also worth mentioning that the new Nightclub E mk2 is actually a super in a concord body, so if you don't have a headshell built into your arm and you don't want to mount the OM, buying that body and then the tip separately is an option...assuming it would match the alignment of your arm. You don't get the brass OM weight, though, so you can't do mass-matching.

Is that Goldring the one that got highest marks during that double blind listening test in the auditorium in Europe?

Yes it was, but I have changed my mind I'm going to stick with my AT OC7 mc. Its about twelve-fifteen years old but has only about 200 hours on it and it still sounds very good. I don't think I would get an MM cartridge to match this at any price. I have another question but I'm going to put this in another thread.
