HELP Receiver shutting off??

I just had to check somethin in the back of my receiver and connect the cable for my on screen display to tv and now the damn thing keeps shutting off every ten minutes...Any ideas on what this could be???

I pluggeed a cable in to my tv to see my onscreen display from receiver and checked my settings. then it shut off and keeps shutting off after about 10 minutes. I checked sleep timer and unplugged all the wires. It stays on with the wires unplugged but when I hook them back up it goes off...GRRRRR ANYONE KNOW WHAT IS CAUSING THIS???

Thanks for all the help! I actually figured it out, in case anyone would have a similar problem I noticed it was shutting off due to my setup not being locked. Strange but this is what caused it. As soon as I locked the setup in my menu it stopped.
