What's everyone's thoughts about AMC and AudioSource amps?

None of my local stores sells either of these two brands of amps, so I've never been able to test one. I've found a few models selling for quite a bit cheaper brand new (or refurbished with full warranty) cheaper than I bought my Adcom and Rotel amps 2nd hand. I think the models are AMC-2100 and AudioSource Amp/One-A. We're talking below $250. Anyone have any experience with either? The reviews here at AR are few, and somewhat mixed, but I don't really rely on them anyway. Not looking to purchase one, just a bit curious. Could I recommend them to someone looking for a bit more than their mid-fi receiver offers?
