    Using receiver as pre/pro

I have an older onkyo tx515pro receiver that doesn't have amp outputs. Wondering is there anyway to hook up a power amp too it?

If it has a tape loop (tape a&b) then you should be able to use the outs to connect to an amp

The downside to this is that these come after the source selection but BEFORE anythng else, even the volume control. The power amps will be getting the full line level signal without any attenuation, tone or balance controls, etc...
