What other equipment do you have and what budget? Do you have an idea of what type of sound you'd like in an amp. There are many good solid state (transistor) amps on the market. What brands would you have available to listen to? Help us narrow the field by giving more information and I'm sure you will soon have a long list.

    Welcome to the board!

    Marantz

Thanks. I prefer old Marantz such as: PM-4; PM-5. Please advice which speaker would be matched.

I'm not familiar with those personally. There a lot of good speakers to choose from. Paradigm for instance has a wide price range, sensitive response and good sound. Acoustic Energy is another good speaker, they seem to have a flat response but not big bass speakers. Speakers are very personal and you should listen to several with the amp to see what you like.

are you looking for everything or just an amp?
also, what price range for what item...

if price isn't an option, ...
focal electra be (or utopia be) speakers (get the size you like)

moon makes some nice electronics to match nicely...

I have anthem gear, and am very happy with it as well ;o)
