Synthesis Nimis

:confused5: Please help:
I have opportunity to buy slightly used Nimis (see company site below), for CDN$500.00. Had anyone heard this integrated? I’ve read all bunch of reviews, they are all somewhat contradictory, and I have a bit of experience with Italian designs, in professional domain. These amps are Ferraris and Lamborghinis of audio world. Usually.
I am going to see the Nimis on Tuesday.
It does not have phono stage. Can someone recommend adequate phono stage?

I had been thinking of buying one of their preamps in the future (well, before I bougth my mac...)

I've read alot of good things about them, there is one thing that would slightly bother me though... they're dual mono, and that's a good thing. But I think that having 2 volume knobs will make it slightly harder to operate... (1 volumeknob for each channel)

besides that (and the fact that you'll need high efficiency speakers) I wouldn't see any reason why not to buy it!
