    Shopping for new Integrated Amp

Went to the Polk Speakers forum and got sick of the ignorant pin heads that post there. Figured I could get some honest feedback here.

I've always like the tube sound but don't have the budget to get an expensive amp. I've found out that some new affordable models have just been out for a couple of years and I would like to know if anyone has used these, knows of anyone that has used these and can offer some feedback. These are not hybrids.

    GemTune X-1 Class-A Tube Amplifier with 5Z4P*1, 6N9P*1, EL34-B*2 ? GemTune Online

MP-301 MK3 Mini Tube Amplifier with Headphone Output (Deluxe Version)

Will also be shopping for one new pair of speakers as well. Plan to still use the Jamo 68 three way bookshelf speakers that I own presently and perhaps the Mirage OM 10 towers if I end up buying another house which allows me to put the OM 10's into a dedicated listening room. Can't use them in my current home. Will post about this subject in the speaker forum next.

Can't say that I can help you with either of those amps. You will need some efficient speakers with either of them to get any decent volume with good dynamics.

If no one here can help you check out the Audio Circles forum.

I know nothing of these brands but most of the people I have spoken to about affordable tube audio seem to like Jolida. they are not quite as inexpensive as the ones you mentioned but I know Jolida carries a very good reputation for reliability or that I have heard about. There might be some on here that don't like Jolida and I am no tube expert I am just going by what I have read and heard.
