    Is a Marantz 1530 in mint condition worth $50?

    If I wanted one, I certainly wouldn't have a problem with that price.

    Yes, definitely. This is a 30 wpc model from 1978-79. I would estimate a mint 1530 can be sold on eBay for $125-150 plus shipping by a reputable seller. Don't sell under $100.

    I would agree with Feanor on this one. They are a prized component for vintage stuff.

    I know Marantz makes amazing receivers but I have never heard about 1530 and thats why I asked!

    no problem. yeah Marrantz were very sought after in the 70's and there was a reason for that. They were good components that were very reliable and very good sounding for the money spent. And for the day they were good looking components as well.
