    Pioneer VSX52TX optical problems
    Can anyone help with a Dishnetwork optical problem to my receiver. Can't get any of my 3 dish receivers to output sound using the optical input on my Pioneer VSX52TX. The weird part is they work fine on my other receivers, even hooking up my DCD player to the same optical ports works fine, but dish won't. Tried all 3 optical ports on receiver, and changed cables. Input assignments are correct. Why does DVD optical work, bur not satellite optical work? Any help would be apreciated.

    Try going to the setup menu on the Dish receiver. There should be a place where you change the audio output settings. I.e. analog to digital.
