    phono pre-amp to a pre-amp in series

I've got a Jolida jd9A phono stage preamp for my turntable. I also have a straight power amp Jolida jd 502p to drive the speakers. Since both the units dont have a volume control I need another pre-amp. My question is, would I be able to connect my jd9A to another pre-amp and then connect to the jd 502p?

Yes you need a preamp. The phono preamp equalizes and raises the voltage to the level of other source components such as cd players and tuners. The preamp will give you volume control and source selection. Preamps may also have balance control and on occasion tone controls. The output from the phono preamp will plug into the preamp at any of the source inputs. Then the preamp will plug into the power amp.

If you like Jolida check out their preamps. Other brands will also work. Good luck.
