new and improved hissing sound (unfortunate)
    hey people,
i had posted in the speaker forum about a loudness and hum going on in my system. well, i couldn't figure out how my system suddenly sounds 1/8 louder? or what the humming was during playback. however, i infiltrated the back wall and castrated all wires (does that sound painful?) then i reconnected and relocated everything and today there is a very noticeable hiss coming from the speakers. i know some hiss is alright, but this hiss did not exist before.
do i still need to keep playing with the wiring? i do not have a power conditioner but a simple $80 monster power center (surge protector). id rather complete all troubleshooting before bugging my dealer to run tests.
