    Broken Plug-in... help?

hey. I have a friends Fender Rumble 15 bass amp right now that i was playing music through. however, the adaptor that i was using to make it be able to plug into the amp broke off. so the tip of my plug in is still in the input. i need to get this out. any ideas?

Is the plug a quarter inch phone jack? If so, you might try a set of needle nose pliers.

If that doesn't work, you'll probably need to take the amp out of the case and get it out that way. How hard that will be could depend on whether the jack is open (in which case the tip will be easy to remove) or enclosed. If the latter you might even have to end up replacing the jack.

If you can't grab it with needle-nose pliers maybe epoxy on the end of a small stick or coat hanger wire would work?

If you could post a photo of your problem, I can definitely help you.
