    Smile NAD 3020 Pre Amp and Optional internal Amp

    i was looking through used victoria and i found this
    its an older NAD but its reviewed at 4.79 out of 5 so
    its pretty good and its only $100 is it a good deal ?

    That's one of the all-time classics. It might be a little overpriced, but they're nice. Only 20 watts per channel, though.

    It may be 20W but it sounds like it has more power!

    They were very well thought of in their day and still talked about. Of course with older int. amps the switches and volume pots can age and sound can deteriorate. NAD has continued to design fine budget and upscale products. I would save your money and invest in a current NAD amp. Since that int. amp may be older than you it might be nice to have a new amp with which you can grow older. If you have nothing currently to power your speakers the NAD will work and with the ability to seperate the preamp from poweramp you can add a power amp later. Then find a new preamp and have seperates before you know it.

    yeah its a good deal but i might just save up and buy a new NAD
