    MISSION Cambridge 778 (year 1984) MM/MC bridges ???
    Hello,
I have an amplifier Mission Cambridge 778 of year 1984.
I cannot use the input phono MM/MC because I do not know the work method of bridges which are with the back of the apparatus.
Can you give me the mode of connection of these bridges to use a turntable MM and MC.

I thank you for your assistance.

Welcome to AudioReview. Could you download a digital image of the back panel. I was unable to find an image of that amp.

    same problem
Did you ever sort it, and if so how.??

I have the same amp, and the same problem....small world.

Amazing Amp though, and now a true collectors item.

    Thanks

Mission Cambridge Power Amp Module 1
    Hi All,

I have the Mission Cambridge amplifier .
I have used it for many years and it has served my excellently all the time.

An issue appeared recently however .
The power amplifier module of one of the channels has failed .
There are 2 x 220 ohm and 2 x 390 ohm resistors on both sides in line .
    2 resistors burned .
I replaced all the resistors on both channels with tantalum film resistors 1/2 watt.
i also put back the fuses in the powr supply which had been removed.
I also replaced some of the transistors on the power board.

    But the causation remains .

How do I check the power transistors ?

I am also looking to buy a power amp module .

    Anyone ?

    regards,

    Aleko Markov
