    Wink Lexicon CP-1

    Anyone have experience with this as a 2ch preamp? Just bought it for the remote controlled volume.

    I have a Lexicon CP1 Plus. It's a 2-channel surround processor with Dolby Pro Logic and DSP modes. Excellent quality gear, but outdated. I used it for a few years before going with a Dolby Digital capable receiver. Wasn't really a good value considering it was $1500, not upgradable and outdated in a short time. I've used it briefly to enhance 2-channel systems, but it's no comparison to more current surround formats.
