kenwood vr-707

i am having trouble with my 707 it will not go into dolby digital mode i have no idea what is wrong with it all it will do is prologic it should have the dolby option but it isn't even showing up. right now i have the mains and a sub hooked up to it. any advice would be nice.

Are you playing a dolby digital encoded DVD? If not, that is your problem. My receiver automatically detects DTS and Dolby Digital encoded formats. Again, you cannot listen in DD or DTS if the DVD was not encoded that way.
