Integrated Amp for $2500 or less??
I am thinking of buying an integrated amp. My budget (set by my wife) is $2500. I have looked at Primare A30.1, Krell KAV 400xi and Musical Fidelity. Any other suggestions? They will be used with a pair of Monitor Audio S6 speakers. Should I upgrade the speakers too?

I really like my Bel Canto eVo2i integrated. Neutral, detailed, dynamic, extented, and extremely transparent. MSRP is US$2990 but there are deals available that should bring the price down to your figure.

I know the Krell would have an edge over the Primare. i have not heard MF. Primare is a very good amp, I just like the Krell better and it would be more powerful. Classe should have an integrated in your range and they are good as well. One other plus for Krell is they have the "theater through" feature which allows you to use the power section as a slave to a HT preamp or receivers main outs.

I'm happy with my Musical Fidelity A3.2. You may want to look at YBA or Classe. Also, Bryston has a new integrated, the B-100 which is about 2700$ U.S. that looks interesting. Also you might want to try a little wineing and dining or dishwashing to get your limit increased.
