    Need Suggestions For Amp

I'm looking to purchase a new amp in the next few weeks. This will be a 2 channel setup only. I will be using it to drive my Paradigm Monitor 9's for the time being. I will eventually be upgrading to a new pair of speakers. I started auditioning new speakers, when I realized that I was sort of putting the cart before the horse, so to speak. Most of the speakers that I had checked out ( Dynaudio Focus 140's , Totem Rainmakers ) need much better amplification than I currently have available. Looking to spend around $1000 to $1200. Have checked out Anthem MCA20 and the Parasound 2250. If you guys have any other suggestions I would sure appreciate it. Thanks, Jack

Rotel also has really good amps in your price range and I think NAD might as well...

I second rotel... as a user they come highly recomended, and I have heard good stuff about adcom amps, I don't know the price range of them so they might or might not fit into your desired price range.
that makes as much sense as a drunken mongoose playing the piano

    Thanks Carl,
When I was auditioning the Dynaudio Focus 140's they were hooked up to a Rotel RB1092 if my memory serves me right. It did sound sweet.
