High end receiver or integrated amplifier

Will I have best clean & detail sound if I use receiver or integrated amplifier ? Which one is better ? Pros and cons of each ? I need to run 2 pairs of speakers simultaneously: Monitor Audio GS10 (100 watts) and Radius 90 (60 watts). Budget is less than 1,500. Can you guys suggest a list. Thanks

An integrated amp will give you the most bang for the buck! The Cambridge Audio Azur 850A is a very good integrated amp for just under $1500 at www.spearitsound.com
120wpc 8ohms and 200wpc 4ohms with XLR inputs. They also sell the Music Hall Maven receiver which has had decent reviews. You could also go with 2 outlawaudio monoblocks and a 970 preamp. If your looking to save some money, the outlawaudio 2ch receiver is an excellent buy and highly rated. Alot of bang for the buck. My first pick would be the Cambridge unit.

Excellent recommendations above. Also consider the Parasound Halo A23 amp and P3 preamp at $1,650 if you can swing the extra $150, or the Parasound Classic A2125 amp and 2100 preamp at $1.300. Both amps are rated at 125wpc @ 8 Ω, 200W @ 4 Ω.
