    Disorted analog input??????HELP
Hi, I have a Technics SA-DA10N receiver and I've always use the digital input for CDs and DVDs and XBox, I also have the analog input hooked up to the corrsponding unit but just never really used that signal path. The other day I was bored and just for fun I switched to the analog input and for some reason the sound is distorted, everytime the bassline hits it sounds like the amp is overloading, but it sounds like that at any volume level. Everything is fine with the digital input and I remembered it doesn't use to do that when I first bought it, and the sound coming out of my cable box's analog output sounds fine(but the preamp level of the cable box is way lower than my CD/DVD/Xbox player). Does anyone have an idea of what's going on? I'm planning to hookup my computer's 5.1output to my receiver soon but this is going to bum me out...

    strange
I unplugged the receiver for half a day and just now I tried it out with both kinds of inputs and everything sounds fine again...the only thing different is the receiver is cooler when just being turned on. Does heat have something to do with it????

    Weird stuff.
