    Question which Denon reciever?

i was looking at the 2809ci but im not sure not.

i want hdmi inputs, good for listening to music and movies, and must have a/b speakers hook ups. 5.1 or 7.1 is not that important.

Can you be a bit more specific as to your applications?

If you are asking whether Denon makes good products then the answer is "yes". As per your stated objectives, it would seem to be a match. The 2809ci does have two zone capability, HDMI connectivity and also has pre outs, an option that will allow you to increase power through the use of external amplification should the need arise.

My quibble with Denon ha never been about performance. It's been about ergonomics.
So, I broke into the palace
With a sponge and a rusty spanner
She said : "Eh, I know you, and you cannot sing"
I said : "That's nothing - you should hear me play piano"
