A decent 2 channel amp/int amp for MMGs

Look on audiogon for a used Adcom GFA-545 and an Adcom preamp or preamp/tuner such as a GTP-450. You should be able to buy both for around $400. The combo will have enough power for the Maggy's and if you don't like them sell them next near for what you paid for them. There is no receiver in the world that will give that kind of value. The GFA-545 is a 100wpc power amp.

I recently owned a Adcom GFA-555II power amp and have an Adcom preamp at the moment, (GFP-750, admittedly a step up from the GTP-450 in price). The GFA-555II was a very pleasant sounding amp overall. I bought it for $305 and sold in a month later for $350. I'd guess the 545 can be had for around $200.

Oops, the Adcom GFA535-II is rated at 100W into 4 ohms (60W into 8). Should have read the manual more carefully. Anyhow, the used price of these is still excellent considering the alternatives at that price point.
