    classe audio dr6 power supply help broken
    good morning friends

    my power supply of the classč dr6 is broken.... i have need of the value of the toroidal transformer... the actual value mounted is 400 va!!! where is the original value?
    if possible to have all the original electric schematics is too much good.....

    What's "broken" about the power supply ? Transformers can go bad but that's rare, particularly in a preamp. I have schematics for the DR-6. PM me and let us discuss your problem.

    my power supply was been tweeked (modificated)...
    the actual toroidal transformer mounted is 400 va!!!
    the fuse breaks whenever i insert the plug in the wall....
    the diod bridge has broken( one mda2502 motorola) and i have
    change it with one generic 3510(too much resistent) and the fuse did not broke more... but only with this big diod bridge.... when i have remounted one 2502, is broke the bridge and the fuse.... i have need the value of the toridal trasformer....

    The transformer VA rating should not be an issue. The preamp will draw only what current it needs. The original transformer would probably be around 100VA-150VA / 20V-0V-20V. Have you checked the two 10,000uF electrolytic caps to make sure that one of them is not shorted ? It should not be that hard to pinpoint the problem; you have only three components in the power supply, the transformer, diode bridge, and caps.
