It is upgrade time and i am looking at a processor or an amp,the winner would be used with my Cambridge Audio reciever until next upgrade.Processor makes more sense to me.What do you guys think?

For the price of the AVM-30 you could purchase an Outlaw 990 pre-pro and Outlaw 7500 poweramp (Balanced 200W x 5), and still have change left over for balanced interconnects.

I just don't like spending that much money on something I can't hear first.I probably will go a little further upscale, hence buying one at a time.Have heard decent things about the Outlaw however.

I'd go for an amp. processor technology is advancing more quickly than amplifier technology, so you'd get more your money by waiting on the processor

I'd get the amp and wait on the processor. processor technology is developing quickly and prices are dropping so you'll get more for your money if you buy the amp first.
