Carver m-500 t matching preamp?

I need help ..i just got this carver m-500t ampliifier its 251 watts can anybody give me some advice what kind of preamp is the best match for this amp..

The M-500t can be matched up with almost anything, Adcom, Rotel, Yamaha, Nad or you could even make an argument for going to a higher dollar Pre-Amp. Depending on your system, ( speakers, system matching, your own preference ) you may even want to try out a tube Pre-Amp.
That being said, Carver Audio has made quite a few Pre-Amp, the C and CT series were very popular.

A couple of questions.
Are you planning to buy a great Pr-Amp and upgrade the Carver amp later?
How much are you looking to spend?

i bought a carver c1 in ebay..sounds great..i am using old klipsch kg-4 sounds really good..thanks
