Biamp or not to Biamp

    Biamp or not to Biamp
    I am contemplating picking up another HCA-2 for biamping a pair of Quad22L. I can understand the sonic advantages to monoblocs but what can I expect if I decide to Biamp?
    Seems like it might be overkill on the high end?

    A lot of this depends on your speakers. I noticed a slight improvement (maybe) when I did this with my MB Quarts. If you already an opportunity to audition the second amp, give it a shot and let us know what you find out.

    Sounds like you were not impressed with the result when biamping. I have not purchased the second unit yet. I am still undecided.I will let you know
