Low impedance loads. I belive the 3.6's bottom out at 3 ohm or so. Also, Theils like current, and the more the better. I used to have an amp, the PS Audio 200c, that was perfect for a speaker like yours. Most well designed new SS amps will work fine. Classe, Krell, Musical Fidelity, and PS Audio are all amps that I've heard with difficult loads, and they all have the ability to handle them well.
