Which amp for a second system?

I need advice for an amp for a second system. I picked up a used parasound Halo P3 preamp, a pair of demo Proac tablette reference 8's, and I have a eastern electric cd player.
My brother will ship me an Audire Forte or Parasound HCA 750 he has and is not using. Which should I choose?
The room is small and the music is jazz, rock and country. Thank you in advance for your replies.

From the no responces should I take it not to even try one of these? The budget is very limited since it is a second system. Is there any thing in the $500 range that I should take a look at?

I've heard neither of those amps, but if it were me, I would go with the Parasound amp. At least you should not have an impedence mismatch by going with the same manufacturer. Maybe someone with Parasound experience will chime in now.
