High End Stereo Receiver / Integrated Ampl

I would like to look for an high-end stereo receiver with sub-woofer output and 100 watts per channel (listen to music). Could you guys suggest some good brand ?

My first thought would be Rotel RX 1052 (heard some good reviews) but this one does not have sub-woofer output. Second thought would be NAD C720BEE but this one is so weak (just 50 watts per channel). I am stuck now !!

the rotel does have a 'subwoofer out', only it's here referred to as a 'zone 2/3/4 out', it's basically the same, only with another name given to it.

I haven't heard it, nor do I know about sub out, Jolida has a 100 wpc integrated that costs around $550.00 that gets good press. The Onkyo 9555 is also getting quite a buzz going around.

I checked the Rotel RC 1052 and it does not have sub-woofer output !!! Only NAD or Yamaha have this feature. My budget is less than 1,500.

If your looking for integrated amp then consider the Cambridge Azure 740A and 840A
100 and 120 wpc and the musichall maven receiver each at www.spearitsound.com, the outlaw audio 2ch receiver at www.outlaw.com. www.audiophileliquidators.com has the B&K reference series 125.2 and 2002.2 amps 125 and 225wpc respectively for $699 and $1000.
All you would need is a preamp and probably could pick up an outlaw multichannel 970 preamp for $599 or the 2ch NAD c162 preamp for the same price.

By the way, you can hook the Sub to the speaker out terminals on the rotel and use the internal cross over on the sub.
REL subs recommend the hook up and they make some of the best subs in the world.

Of course, you DO realize that any receiver with pre-outs and main-ins can accommodate any subwoofer with R/L line level inputs, don't you?

And, any subwoofer with speaker-level inputs can mate well with any receiver. right?

Also, you know that stereo doesn't offer a dedicated LFE channel like HT does, right?

If you can spring $1500 and want a high quality + high power + new combination, consider this ... PS Audio Trio_C100. Or at the risk of a Chinese product ... Xindax XA-6950 -- certainly reads spectacular.

To me, a long time "receiverholic" this is a no brainer. For $649 Outlaw Audio makes a incredible product. It looks and sounds like something costing 3 - 4 times its price. You are buying direct from the manufacture and it has all the bells and whistles including a bass management circuit for a subwoofer, USB input and iPod aux input. It has MM and MC dead quiet phono inputs and pute out 100wpc with low, low distortion. I own this as well as the much more expensive Magnum Dynalab MD 208. The Outlaw RR2150 more than holds its own!!
