Adcom GTP-880 A/V Controller

Does anyone have any experience with Adcom preamps? I looked at this and found this review, it looks pretty impressive, im in the market for a HT preamp. the specs look good i just wonder if it is reliable?

reading the review it has 2 multi-channel inputs so you can connect a separate SACD DVDA player and you can set each set of speakers crossover level at a certain point instead of small and large, i also like the analog bass management switch.
