Adcom GFA 5500 + Proceed AVP Deal

A showroom in New York is offering this bundle for $1,300:

Adcom GFA 5500 Power amp
Proceed AVP Preamp

Both are open box demo models, but sparingly used. Is it a good price?

The regular price of the Adcom GFA 5500 at www.audioadvisor.com is $1,499. They don't have a demo or b-stock model listed on their website right now. Usually, AA is a pretty good guage for pricing. Looks like a good deal, especially if you get manufacturers' warranties with both.

If both of those pieces work that is an unbelieveable deal. Proceed is a Mark Levinson product. Now out of business but still should be a great preamp and probably cost more than $1,300.00 by itself as well. Audio Advisor seems to be high on the GFA 5500, I though it only retailed new at about $1,100.00.

Thanks for the info. Both of these pieces are in working order and have been used in the showroom as demo pieces (very sparingly)
