in both reviews, they talk about bridging the amp, what does that mean? and i dont see if they are 4 ohms or not. the adcom seems better bc it has more channels.

Bridging means that by flipping a switch, you can turn a stereo amp into a monoblock or single channel amp to drive one speaker. You would need two of the amps in bridged mode to drive two speakers.

As recommended earlier, google the owner manual for each to see what it says about 4ohm capability.

All the amps I pointed you at I already did that and I'm pretty sure the list BR gave you all will drive the Danes without issue.

I've heard the Parasound matched up with 4 ohm PSB Stratus Gold's and they handled them just fine.

I think either amp will run the ohm load just fine its just which one is going to perform to your personal musical tastes and which one will pair with the rest of your equipment the best. Sometimes reviews are good but the review itself does not factor in your speakers, preamp, or other downstream or upstream equipment that might change the outlook. Either amp by itself is easily capable of doing what you are wanting it to do.

Don't worry about bridging. And just about any separate power amp will be rated to at least 4ohms. As the ohm rating of a speaker goes down the more power the amp will out put because you are lowering the resistive load on the amp. So if you use 4ohm speakers on an amp rated to only 8 ohms then you can over drive the amp and overheat it and kill it.

I would strongly consider the ADcom GFA 555 if you can't find the Parasound. Below is a review of the Adcom.

I would email a second time to show that you are serious about buying one. Otherwise be patient, that model always comes up for sale again.
