    Adcom 535 vs. 535II
    I currently own an Adcom GFA 535 and have had no complaints. Has anyone compared the 535 to the 535II? Would it be worth upgrading to the 535II or just moding the 535?

    I own the Adcom 535 II amp and from what I understand there really is not much sonic differenece between the two. I would not upgrade. This is just my opinion though.

    I've owned both...the biggest difference is the style of the inputs on the back...I've heard the 535II has a more refined sound (not as bright), but I didn't hear it. I don't think I'd consider it an upgrade, more like a lateral movement to a newer model. If there's nothing wrong with the 535, I wouldn't bother at all.
